Project Specialist for Government Clients

Chateau Marketing Consultants Inc. is an Ontario (Canada) incorporated consulting services business, established in 1983, to provide the services of its President,

Bruce R. P. Fox, to clients requiring his skills to work on specific projects and programs.

Mr. Fox is a Secret cleared senior executive consultant and government services contractor, having worked in both the Canadian government and private sector organizations in roles involving international relations and business development, program/project design and implementation, trade policy and promotion, multi-agency and intergovernmental partnerships for specific initiatives, organizing special interest seminars and conferences, marketing communications and web portal systems.

He is also knowledgeable on government procurement issues, and is the co-originator of the annual Federal Government Procurement Conference of the Americas, which in 2006 become an operational program within the Organization of American States.

Key Assignments

  • Completed a study on U.S. defence and security events, developed a plan to promote Canadian capabilities to the U.S. defense and civilian security agencies (2006), and was retained to implement the plan through 2007.
  • Contracted with the Latin American division of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada to help in the development of country commerce strategies to increase the trade and investment in Brazil (2006). Another contract was awarded to assist in the refinement of the Middle Eastern GCC states commerce strategy (2006-2007).
  • Formerly, he was a Senior Consultant with Canadian Commercial Corporation, developing policy and trade relationships between Canada and U.S. civilian government agencies (most notably with the U.S. General Services Administration), and Central and South American government entities (emphasis on Ecuador and Central America), from 2000 to 2005.
  • Completed a study for the National Research Council (NRC) on the international twinning of science and technology clusters (2006) – he was also a consultant to the NRC’s expert on Technology Roadmaps for Canada’s marine and ocean industries sector (2002-2003).
  • Project manager for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for several Intranet/Internet related projects, mainly for the Federal Services Directorate (2000-2002).
  • Project developer for the first official bilingual web site for the Office of the President’s Secretariat of Planning, Government of Guatemala (1999 – 2000).
  • Prime contractor for the first trilingual web site sponsored by Industry Canada to promote Canada’s geomatics sector (1998 – 2001).

Mr. Fox is a graduate of Loyola (now Concordia University) in Montreal (1974), and has more than 30 years of international business development and government consulting experience.
